homes for 25% of our veterans who live on the street. I know of a family, a Grandmother here, who rescued her grandson from his mother in jail.( where he was born)She drove miles to another state just in time to 'rescue' him form the 'system'. She lost her job, lived in her car with her grandson, and now, finally, get's a red hot $349.00 per month to live on. She can't offord 'day care', he's too young for her to go back to work, scrambles to eat and this, ladies and gentlemen, is how we treat the least among us. When a Gov. neglects its own we all suffer. Many politicians have sold their souls to the highest contributors. Meanwhile, the vets. and many of the grandmothers struggle to find a place to lay their head. What a world! I for one love Israel and am also ashamed at the callousness of the political system who 'authorizes' this bad behavior. It's up to us to demand more from our politicians. But, do we? We carp online but, do we write to them and demand more?
