Reality check needed here. The 1967 borders are NOT "pre-conditions" - they (as well as UN Resolutions) are fully recognized under international law, and IT AIN'T NO GOOD for Israel to ignore this and state that biblical precedent trumps international law. It doesn't. Further, it is noteworthy that Israel will indeed have recourse to the UN when it thinks such a step will be in its own (self-defined) interest, witness the campaign against Iran as a case in point. Trying to "steer" intelligent people (EU leaders), who represent 504 mn people, into thinking in terms which will serve the interests of the Jewish segment of the population of Israel (total population 7.7mn), is a non-starter.
