I am a no-rich Israeli living in South Tel Aviv and I attended this conference via ticket from one of the network I am part of. I am very gratefull for this opportunity as otherwise I would never have a chance to meet so many top proffessors, experts, NGO activists, amazing speakers. I dont agree that all the speeches were empty, some that I attended were very emotional and deep. I left the even inspired. I met at the conference other "normal", young Israeli, not only rich middle-aged men (I am a wolen). Yes this conference might be a bubble as everybody there were inteligent, hopeful and smiling. But why cant we allow ourselves to be like that, once in a while? Smile and dream? Are we Israelis forbidden to do it, because of all the bad things happening here???
