It may because if you read an article in Ya Libnan about Iraq, it mentions that arab and kurdish shiites don't get along that well and the author did not think Iran would gain as big an influence in Iraq as has been feared in the USA because arab and kurdish shiites don't get along. Are the USA politicans using the Iraq football as a political issue that has no merit in order to get elected? and, of course, usa meddling could make things worse?? So, is it important to understand that there are deep tribal divides in the Middle East. Maybe. I have Armenian relatives, so I certainly don't care what a person's race or religion is. However, these people have fought and murdered each other so much over the years, you have to wonder if reconciliation will happen. Some of them are reconciliating like the Kurds and Armenians. This is important. So if a Kurd is reconciliating with an Armenian, I listen. When someone is sorry for what his people did to another and wants to make amends, I listen.
