The issue of Iran having a nuclear weapon is a very serious one. The world would be better off without it. Some of the questions one could ask are: why would Iran be seeking nuclear weapon capabilities? Does it feel threatened by regional or world powers who may already have nuclear weapons? Is it illegal for any nation to develop weapons that it feels will increase the its security? Finally, would a Nuclear Armed Iran mean nuclear war in the region which would almost assure mutual destruction? We need to do ourselves a favor: be honest, look at why Iran might want to have the weapon. Look at the whole region, and its problems/issues. Are we letting our politics getting in the way in such a way that we don't want to even listen to the other side? Why is the dog barking? Is it because he simply mad or is it trying to tell us something? Think about this one: Are India and Pakistan any closer to an armed conflict now that they both have nuclear weapons than before they both had it?
