Iran voluntarily signed the IAEA and in return received international help with N-technology provided by worlds leading Nuclear powers. Iran was able to purchase a nuclear reactor from Russia under the same IAEA rules that allow peaceful pursuits of nuclear energy and other equipment from France, Germany and GB. Iran pocketed all these benefits and has been fraudulently and clandestinely pursuing a military application or an N-bomb (so it is alleged). Iran cannot simply now repudiate IAEA having benefited from the technology transfers given it in good faith without consequences. Israel, on the other hand, never signed the IAEA and did not receive international help with its nuclear program or the Dimona reactor. Israel is not obligated to account for its nuclear program as stipulated by the IAEA charter.
