It's been said time and time again, that the settlements in the occupied territories are ILLEGAL under int'l law. Can someone explain why the Int'l community, i.e. 'The Superpowers' have not enforced this blatant infraction of int'l law? The world does a lot of talking and only takes action when it suits their 'interests'. The US rallied int'l support to oust Saddam from Kuwait because Iraq illegally occupied it. The US is trying to drum up support to sanction Iran for not 'playing by the rules'. Why hasn't anyone put an armed force on the ground and forced these settler thugs (ie New Yorkers and Russians) out of the occupied territories? The leaders of today are only a fraction of the great leaders that once graced earth. Case in point, our articulate by spineless leader Obama. I would have loved to see the likes of Eisenhower and have Israel pull this bs on a VP. You'd have aircraft carriers and battalions docked next to Israel tomorrow!
