England gave Israel the Heavy Water need to produce the bombs. (They got it from Norway, where Nazi Germany produced it for their own bomb). 3. Adenauer's Federal Republic of Germany financed the Jewish Nuke project for its Wiedergutmachung ("Reparations") fund 4. JFK tried to dissuade Israel from building Nukes. He was murdered. LBJ then accepted Israel as a fait accompli to the Nuke club. Johnson also provided Israel with its first F-4 Phantom jets, which could deliver the bomb.
