When King Arik pulled out of Gaza without a formal transition of power to the PLO, he knew what he was doing: tempting Hamas to take over and then having a pretext for a blockade. Now most civilians are trapped between two forces: a neighboring one blocking and raiding, and a gangster organization that does not give a damn about their welfare. Still I don't see any reason why the Flottilla participants should apologize to the worse of the oppressors. They wanted to bring goods to the people - not to Hamas.
