What crushed Mubarak in the protests was mainly the economic situation in which Egypt fell into due to a sudden strike by all work forces. It was also the fact that the Egyptian army did not want to shoot on it's people. With Israelis and Palestinians, it's different. a) Israel doesn't need Palestinians for it's economy to function. If Palestinians start a strike, they are the ones who will suffer, not Israel. b) Israeli soldiers will at protesters if they become too violent. Israel won't risk it's soldiers' lives.
