does the, "Arab Spring" seem so cold? There is a subtle difference between how one would wish the World to be and how it actually is. It seems that we are incapable of making any connection between Somalia, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Burma, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, East Timor, Tunisia, Bahrain and.....Gaza. The Portrayal of Gaza as a bastion of angelic forces seeking equality and co-existence with the bad, Nazi, Nuclear bullying Israel is the common World view, and yet few will accept or indeed comment on what makes the Muslim World so filled with violence and Death. The best the Jew bashers can come up with is, "Israel is responsible for all the Wars in the World". This, in my book is Revisionist Anti Semitism at work. Trouble is, America has lost it's power base and is about to implode with Israel as it's first casualty. In fact it seems logical that Israel and the Jews will, in some quarters be blamed for the whole mess the American and the rest of the World are in. We, as Jews are in for a rough time, not seen since WW2.
