Mr. Netanyahu would like the world to believe that it is the Israeli's who have made progress on the "roadmap to peace" and that now the Pal's are presenting unprecedented roadblocks. However, the roadmap called for 2 key initial steps: For the Pal's to provide security apparatus so that Israeli citizens would be free from acts of terrorism and that the Israeli's would cease settlement expansion/activity. - inclusive of East Jerusalem. I sincerely believe the Pal's have delivered on there part to self-police and put security apparatus in place to prevent these acts. But it is the Israeli's, and specifically the conservatives and ultra-orthodox parties, that have continued to 1)expand the settlements and form new ones and 2) to unilaterally declare all of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. I think a close examination of the actions of the parties shows that Israel's government speaks for peace but acts towards deepening the conflict.
