If a Third Way Liberal group is successful in developing,it will have to be strong enough to defend itself from those that would want to cause it harm. There is no doubt they would be a target for the Islamicists and also even the military wing of Fatah. The positive thing is that they can grab the hearts of the Palestinian public and the support of the west but they would need a strong force. Dahlan maybe the key guy here.He would get the support of the west for he has had good relations with the west.Abbas I feel is going to get limited support from both his people and Israel for his inability to stand up and take on the real problems. But a new group that is compatable more with modern western thinking might just do the trick. Its going to be a rough road but I personally hope it happens.Enough of the killing of children.
