The news practically closes the Iran file, as far as Bush may be concerned. No point in attacking Iran if they can hit back in Iraq and elesewhere. Would the Bush ideology of fighting "worldwide terror" just be put to rest? Unlikely. The quest to beat the terrorists gave the main direction to the (failed) Bush presidency. So who has to be the next terror-supporting target? My guess is that we will start hearing more about Syria. They support Hizballah and Hamas, so can be portrayed as a legitimate target. Of course, Syria supports these organizations because they cause trouble for Israel, who is occupying the Syrian Golan, but such fine details don't matter to Bush.
