Bush is anxious to use a successful outcome (extremely unlikely) as a smoke screen to cover his horrendous track record on Iraq - he and his father before him. What a family legacy! The Palestinians are not interested unless the end result is a state without interference from Israel - removal of Settlers, freedom of movement, especially to East Jerusalem, freedom of air and sea routes, including an airport in the West Bank or East Jerusalem (one already exists)and the change of route of the Wall to give back all the land taken by its construction. Demands? This is purely to ensure human rights and freedoms expected by every person in the world. So no more "talk about talks" - either they get on with it or don't bother.
