haaretz might be fuming in its fight for justice for certain minorities but the fact is-the jnf is a private body with certain agenda. it has every right to choose how to deal with the land it owns. even if some of it was transferred to the jnf by the state, as of now, the jnf is the legal owner, period. just like the state cannot force the wakf, rotschild foundation, churches and other land onwers in this country to sell the land just to everyone, the state should stay out of the jnf business. 'It turns out that if Ya'alon, Ben-Nun and Aumann thought that an Arab would live in Carmiel, they would not have placed even one cent in the JNF's blue box in school.' and yes, it is their right too. if you donate money to organization that, say supports cancer patients, you have every right to object this organization using the money on stray cats.
