Even if our local Yevsek, is hot to trot, how does his enthursiasm square away with the cost of inducting all "those Hareedim"? That was the concern of Ya'alon, and Lieberman. It's bad enough the middle classes are being tasxed to underwrite the defict, how does he expect to pay for the added cost? Zahal would have to create cirucmstances where Haredim would have no contact with female personnel, and other condiitions. If our local Yevsek imagines that even a physical training instructer is out of bounds, much less the tirturm that some commanders do to make them "gain respect", he has something else coming. Then too, what the Yevseks , fear might not be the problems of discipline, but that eventually, Haredim might come up as the superior soldiiers, getting into positions of leadership at the lower levels to the point the top brass never imagined, and . . . more Haredim and otherwise Tradtitional officers than they ever imagined . . . even eventually a Haredi Chief of Staff.
