Taking the Palestinians out of Palestine and putting them in Israeli jails is against the law too. It is called rendition and for the life of me I fail to see why Israel think the IDF have the right to just lock up people without trial or charge when they are on their own land. I just watched John Pilger's film "Palestine is still the issue" for the first time and saw the film of the IDF deliberately enacting Israeli law by breaking the arms of Palestinian civilians. Israel should learn by now, after the hellhole of Khiam, that torture does not work. And now to Alan Johnston - Israel jailed Mordecai Vanunu for 18 years just for telling the truth, Israel uses children for human shields as the world has seen, and the US have had an Al Jazeera journalist in Gitmo for over 5 years with hardly anyone speaking out as they have for Johnston. Spare us the "they are worse than us crap please".
