Why is it that Israel can't negotiate with militaristic Hamas but Palestinians HAVE TO negotiate with militaristic Israel? This is war, how is one the good guy and bad guy? They're both the bad guy. What makes Israel think it's any better than Hamas? If we look at the statistics, more Palestinians have been killed by Israelis than Israelis killed by Palestinians (excluding wars;ie terrorist attacks, airstrikes, small military ops). So would should be weary of negotiating with who.....Who is living in constant poverty and impeccable fear across the entire land of being killed? Israel has to worry about mortar attacks. Palestinians have to worry about hellfire attacks. Which is more precise? Israeli soldiers have to worry about stone throwers and peaceful protesters. Palestinians have to worry about radical settlers and rouge soldiers. Israel is aloud to entice and attack Palestinians but Palestinians aren't aloud to resist occupation and misery? Are all men (but Palestinians) not aloud to the pursuit of happiness? Does it not say in my constitution, that if a government is failing to provide the security for you and your people, that it is your sole duty to overthrow them and replace them with something more suitable? I guess democracy just doesn't exist in some parts of the world. Well, I'm gonna be real right now. There is no such thing as democracy. Most of our congressmen have served 40+ years, and that's where the power resides. The president can't pass anything without the consent of congress. And we have the tenacity to call Assad and Gadhafi dictators. Remember, when you point your finger, there's always 3 pointing right back at you. I'm sure Haaretz won't publish this, and I just wasted 10 minutes of my life that I will never get back <_<. I could have been reading a book...
