It is not the American Jews who are protesting too much. The too much protesting is at the heart of these commercials, masking an extreme case of denial regarding the dangers to the future well being of the Jewish State of Israel on the part of its government. It seems to me a foolhardy and immature attempt to feel more confident by trying to lessen the confidence of another. As a dual citizen currently living in the USA, watching these commercials dampens any enthusiasm I might have for the possibility of one day returning to Israel.
