Who are the rebels? Who is their leader? What do they propose? What do they want besides the end of Qaddafi? What is their plan for Libya? Why is NATO supporting them (and not intervening in other places where repression and civilian killings are as bad if not worse)? Not long ago western powers were praising Qaddafi, and the US had even taken him off their terrorist list. I have the awful suspicion that we have just seen another western (US)-backed coup; an intervention into another country's affairs in order to take control of that country's resources. From Latin America to North Africa - same modus operandi. My God.
