Trying to pass laws that would target left wing NGOs, but not centrist nor right wing ones, in a politicized inquisition that echoes the McCarthyite era of 1950s America; would fine citizens for supporting boycotts in a poorly written loosely defined bill open to wide interpretations that could lead to repression of freedom of speech. What we need is a core curriculum in civic education for our pupils, but it seems the "adults" in the Knesset could use such a course too. Come on, chevre, we are better than this!
