can only be proven by standing trial or coming up with a counter report supported by evidence to international standards. Israel cannot win the battle for deligitimizing Goldstone, the UN, it's HRC or the ICC. It simply will not work, totally independent from the fact whether the report is true or false. The accused can not win a case in a judicial, moral, political field whatsoever, by neglecting the accusation and charge on the accusers. Not if the accusers represent the International Community and derives their jurisdiction from international instituted bodies for that. Israel should face the accusations and come up with NATO attrocities committed in Afghanistan from air raids, burning children, women and in fact everybody alive who were so unlucky to be in that place at that time. That would be a powerfull defense. The Israeli High Court could even adopt universal jurisdiction a la Spain to go for British and German and Dutch commanders and decision makers in Afghanistan.
