Ivar from Estonia also has history muddled. The 1967 invasion by Egypt and Jordan ended up at the Jordan River and the Nile River. When Egypt made peace with Israel (after another failed invasion in 1973) they got the Sinai (and the oil reserves that Israel had discovered there) back. Jordan signed a peace treaty with no territorial exchange much later. Does Ivar propose that Egypt take back its Gaza colony? Or that Israel take all the land all the way to the river? How generous. Or does he speak mistakenly of the 1949 armistice which did not result in a peace treaty since the invading Arab nations pledged no talks, no peace, no Israel. Instead they just divvied up the "west bank" and Gaza amongst themselves. Nobody knew about palestinians then.

When Adolf Hitler first sent Jews to die, Europeans and Americans agreed that it was not their problem. Israel may be about to make the same mistake about Assad's killings in Syria.15:28 05.05.16 | 0 comments
