A worthy mission. But what of the non-jewish people who lived there prior to 1948 and were forced, by various means, mostly foul, to become refugees, and still are 60 years later, after a history of appalling treatment. Shouldn't they be allowed a home, or given back the homes that were taken from them or destroyed?. They played no part in the Holocaust and pogroms and other persucutions of Jews over the centuries. Should they be sacrificed to expiate the crimes of the Nazis, Russians, Crusaders and other mass assassins of Jews. Or is it that might is right, they lost, so too bad for them, power lies at the end of the gun etc.? If we accept this, as Israel has, what moral argument will we use when the balance of power swings against Israel? What principles will we appeal to? Let them come home, recognize their human rights, treat them with respect, as your human brothers and sisters, and lay the true foundation for a Jewish home.

Why this liberal Zionist now supports BDS

Calling the occupation 'unsustainable' is how liberal Zionists ease their conscience and excuse their timidity, by telling themselves it can’t last. But it will last – unless we start acting more like radicals.
