    When; Oh when! Every Jewish government since Rehoboam has existed only under the thumb of an outside power which forced its radicals to keep the peace. In spite of persecution, on which Jews have no monopoly, Judaism has thrived; but it looks like the Israeli government is about to follow its predecessors and go down again.
