Despite lack of proper intelligence (or disregard of proper ones) Israel fend off a surprise attack on it's most holy day when everyone were at home turning off electricity. The US's air bridge was a response to what you conveniently forgot, the USSR bridge. In terms of accomplishment between the six days war where we annihilated 2 armies in 6 days - a precedent in the world and the yum kippur war where we fended off against a surprise attack on our most vulnerable day of the year, this war was our greatest military accomplishment and yet again we were meters away from their capitals, let alone recaptured Sinai. Once Egypt understood we cannot be beaten they agreed to peace. We had not only their capitals but an entire Egyptian force cut off and surrounded. Pity the world interfered. Would they have done the same for us? When the Arabs lose they go home, when we lose we get massacred. We need to win every time, they only need to be lucky once.

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn

Why Britain's Labour has become synonymous with anti-Semitism

When senior party members spout vile anti-Jewish theories and at the same time insist they are in no way anti-Semites, they truly believe they are not lying.
