Instead of taking the easy way, fight for what you know is right. Choosing to "let it die" with you really is not your choice for anyone but you. Your children will know what they are, and you have no control over what they decide to do or even you grandchildren, great grandchildren and so on. So do not think by leaving that you have thwarted the yoke of your ancestors. If HaShem wants then, he will call them back despite whatever decision you make on your soul. Just saying, your secularism is just as snobby as the extremist rabbi doing this crap. I agree with you though that this divisiveness is a serious problem, and one we can no longer afford or allow to happen.
