I agree with you that Gaza was a highly significant move and has so far proven to be fruitless. However, I see the conflict here as being far more than one move against another or tit for tat tally of who gave and who took. Israel is going to have to make a lot of moves before the pen hits the peace agreements, and the Palestinians are going to have to do a lot of mindset changing and give up some hopes, myths , and expectations and do a lot of policing their own extremists. But what would it hurt, Ronnie, to open up some more mixed institutions, business ventures, and build some more infrastructure that could be enjoyed by more than just the Jews? Some little moves might go a long way in showing people that they have more to gain from us than from Hamas.
