Here is what will happen if Abbas and his PA make any move to declare independence without recognizing the Jewish State of Israel: 1. Israel will annex all the land that Jewish towns reside on. 2. Israel will annex a strip of land along the Jordan river, isolating PA from Jordan and the rest of the world. 3. Israel will seal its border crossings, harbors and airports to traffic in/out of "Palestine". 4. Israel will cut all power, water, fuel to PA state. 5. Nothing goes in or out of W. Bank or Gaza unless they demilitarize to Israel's satisfaction, recognize Jewish State of Israel, locate an embassy in its capital of Jerusalem. If "Palestinians" fantasize they will get anything more than this from a "unilateral declaration of independence", that Arab League or "the world" will solve all their problems for them on their terms, they've learned zero these past 63 years. Maybe Obama should admit to them he can't recognize their "state" without Congress approval - ain't gonna happen!
