The reports comments between Erdogan and Kilicdaroglu seem nothing more than the usual party political argy bargy common in all democracies. The Palmer Report made it clear that it was not providing a legal opinion on whether the blockade is legal or not. Its purpose was to attempt to provide a platform for reconciliation between Israel and Turkey - and in this it has clearly failed. But why should Turkey's influence in the region be adversely affected by the downgrading of its diplomatic relations with Israel? This just doesn't make sense.
