This land wasn't illegally occupied by Israel till 1948 because at that time Palestinians were called only Jews and they lived in all parts of today recognized Palestine. Arabs preferred to be called "Arabs". From 1948 there were Jordanians who illegally occupied so called West Bank ( they gave this name to the new land property) when they attacked the new state of Israel which was the new name for the part of the land previously called Palestine. Jordanians were the ones who divided Jerusalem and expelled all the Jews from the East part of it. There are many Arabs who called themselves "Palestinian" holding Jordanian passports. I wonder: why don't they refuse it? Doesn't it say about their real identity?
