Wishful thinking aside, there are no actual "peace moves" afoot to which we can respond. In fact the only thing new in the "Pal" camp was today's rare candid statement, via the "Unity Government", whose every declared policy was in violation of all the conditions formerly agreed to in the Quartet's Road Map to peace. Their mask is now officially off. The PA "Unity Gov't" has essentially, jointly and publicly re-committed itself to ongoing war against us in every sphere of endeavour. More important is the issue of our own reality check in this situation. Our desire for peace should not blind us to the negative intentions of those who today declared themselves to be our existential enemies. The issue we face does not concern "optimism or pessimism", but rather, REALISM, which has a way of ambushing those who would rather not face it head-on.
