Do you know why Olmert's war failed in Lebanon? Because the IDF targeted civilians at an alarming rate to the point the international opnion was unable to stomach the war and could not remain silent, not even the US could. The fact is, Israeli soldiers and officials have delibertaly killed hundreds of civilians for pure revenege and mayhem and for no other military purpose what so ever. This is the truth that you will never hear for the damage will be so severe and will expose the underlining lack of disciplne and deep-rooted racism which plauges the Israeli military mechine. Olmert's limited objectives in Lebanon have been subverted by an extremist right-wing culture in the Israeli military establishment. The war objective was no longer to go after Hizbouallah, it became a turky shoot for Israeli solders who wanted to entertain themselvs, similar to what is happening in Palestine.
