What would happen if the West Bank palestinians were given a chance to vote on the west bank being absorbed into Israel, with all current west bank residents getting israeli citizenship (like current israeli arabs), with no return of refugees and without inclusion of gaza in the deal? Would there be a solid majority of west bank residents voting to give up on the idea of an independant palestine? Not that there much possibility in the next ten years of such a thing being arranged, but what is the attitude of most west bank residents toward those palestinians currently holding israeli citizenship (i.e. the "israeli arabs")? Are these israeli arabs envied by palestinians in west bank or are they pitied for being nothing but "second class citizens" of Israel???
