"For his part, the prime minister appears to be unable to understand what it is the Americans want from him: "What is this fight about? What they want from me?" he told aides in a closed meeting." What Obama wants is apparently something beyond Netanyahu's capacity - good faith. Nothing Netanyahu says can be believed. Nothing his government says is credible. He needs to bring the Frankenstein's Monster of the current Israeli government to elections and do something totally out of character - be honest about his intentions. US Policy has not changed in 42 years. Just because Obama is President does not mean US policy should change. For 42 years, Israeli governments have made every excuse possible to avoid peacefully resolving the conflict. Take some responsibility, Bibi - end the charade or do something to actually achieve the peace you say you want. Obama's policy is the same as that of Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Bush. Negotiate in good faith.
