It is time for peace but the question is what kind of Peace are we talking about. Is it going to be a cold peace such as Israel has with Egypt and Jordan? Peaces where people don’t shoot at each other but aren’t good friends? What role should be the different religions involved such as Jews, Christians, Sunnis and Shiites? What would the Israeli Arabs prefer, living in Israel under Israeli government, moving to the West bank, Gaza Jordan or Lebanon? What do the ancestors of the refugees leaving in Jordan and Lebanon prefer, Moving to the West Bank or Gaza or once receiving financial compensation to stay where they are? What would the Israeli settlers prefer; moving into what will call Israel then(assuming that the land where they are living now will be part of the West Bank or, becoming Jewish citizens in an Arab state? The best way to find the answer to all these questions is to have the UN run a referendum and take it from there.
