For any aggresive military action approval I can understand delays, democratic process. All of it. It took NATO months to finaly decide to deploy defensive weapons to a NATO ally who is a member of the alliance for more than 50 years. And now it will take weeks before the actual Patriot batteries are moved to Turkey and are operational. Turkey has already been bombed by Syrians "mistakenly" numerous times and had civilian losses!!! Any one who has ever thought NATO as a garanteur in any peace process/agreement in the Middle East must never for get that recent charade!
