Ilon Ramon and Asaf Ramon had something in common. They wanted to fly. Both father and son died doing what they chose to do. This fact can never comfort the wife and mother who has lost both. I have seen the bereaved wives of men I knew who died flying. I never thought that I could offer any solace or some vision of a better world. Those women had lost what they loved the most to what their husband or child loved more. How can anyone comfort, assuage, or ameliorate that? I cannot. I do not think anyone can. She shall live the rest of her life as best she can. While they died - not willingly - but still doing what they loved the most.
