Israel has no direct conflict with Iran, and it seems the Arab Israeli conflict is responsible for Iranian hatred. The hotter the state of ME conflict, the hotter Iran`s hatred. Israel had good relations during Shah`s days, so one should not consider Iran an eternal enemy. 1.Peace with the Palestinians is actually closer than ever. The Arab League has already proposed peaced based on the 1967 line, which Beilin`s Geneva Accords actually realized (so to speak). At present, Kadima and the Right Wing in Israel have a much bigger appetite for Palestinian land. They should realize that peace has value beyond the Palestinian issue (e.g., Iran). 2.Syria is an Iranian ally. The Assad regime is weak today, and wants to return to the good graces of the US. What easier than making peace with Israel. They will demand the Golan, and should get it because it is theirs according to international law. But the extra demands of a Kinneret shoreline for Syria will not be raised. Peace is possible.
