What is the point of this- is it to establish what Rabin's ' true views ' were , and sanctify that as the absolutely right position which Israel must hold now, and forever- more? The article quotes Leah Rabin as saying that Yitzhak Rabin was a pragmatic individual who adjusted his views with circumstances. The circumstances now are very different than in 1995. Even if we could accurately guess his views, that would not necessarily make them the 'right one's or the best ones for us now?
