Has the Israeli government ever defined what being a Jewish State means? Has the Israeli governtment ever defined exactly who is a Jew? Would this in any way diminish the current or future rights of the 20-25% of Israeli citizens from other ethnic groups? What about members of the Jewish ethnic group that are atheists? Would this affect the rights of those Palestinians who were ethnically cleansed from Israel? What about when Palestinians are eventually the majority, through birth rates and/or through those that exercise their right of return, is it still a "Jewish State"? I suspect the real answer is that the Israeli government wants the right to be purposely vague until there is agreement, then later they will define what this means in very a dragonian manner and Apartheid manner. If the government is not being vague and has thoroughly defined what this means, please give me a link to the site that documents it.
