Please stop talking about the Israeli left- the Left that increased settlement activity in the West Bank during Oslo while proposing cantonized state for the Palestinians. The Israeli Right is more courageous as it was the one who pulled out of Sinai and Lebanon and Gaza. The problem for Israel and the region now is that Left and Right have mutilitated into Qadima- a non-descript grouping of business leaders, unionists, technocrats and ex-army generals. This clouded-leadership can neither conduct war nor make peace. The aftermath of this war is likely to see the disintegration of this cloud. And this maynot save what is left of Israel from the turns of history.
