While the author states that Ariel should be considered illegal (based on very flimsy arguments), he ignores one glaring fact: His own vaulted university, TAU, is located right on the former Arab village of Sheikh Munis. The author should allow the former residents of Sheikh Munis to come back to their land before complaining about Ariel - a city founded on formerly open land, and which did not remove a single Arab from his home. This is the danger of Israelis objecting to our presence in Yesha. If we cannot be in Yesha, then we cannot be in Jerusalem, or Beit Shemesh, or Beer Sheva or Maalot.
