It has become evident that Israel will not willingly engage in peace negotiations with Palestine. Therefore the intent of the Free Gaza movement is to apply pressure to Israel to encourage her to be more willing to negotiate. What Israel has imposed upon Gaza is inhuman and not in the interest of peace, only Israeli domination of her neighbors. Political efforts to achieve peace have failed miserably, and promise to fail still more in the future. Although Palestine is willing to negotiate a fair peace, governmental organizations have demonstrated their impotence in getting Israel to the negotiation table. Therefore NGO's have assumed the task of bringing about peace between Israel and her neighbors. The moment Israel decides to remove her inhuman enforcements upon Gazan people, treat them with decency, and work with them toward a lasting peace which benfits all - not just Israelis at the expense of Palestinians - the Free Gaza movement will have accomplished its goal and the flotillas will cease. But until such a time, Israel will just have to put up with the flotillas. Israel's threats and/or the use of force will not deter these people, nor will their countries' governments stop them. It is entirely up to Israel's government to bring the flotilla relief of Gaza to a halt.
