like taking bonds over stocks? like the glass is half empty conservative? i find that "conservatives" typically like monarchies, totalitarianism, and religion. they are "conservative" in their understanding of information, as if the past holds the clues. this seems the opposite of progressive, which most of life seems to follow a progressive evolution. there are some aspects of life that undoubtedly are better when viewed/approached conservatively, but this makes "liberal" seem risky, when striving for justice is anything but risky. it is the only thing to do, and anything promoting the status quo holds it back.
