1960's Israel: Tiny country, fledgling democracy, lacking natural resources including oil and water, surrounded by enemies sworn to its destruction, forced to fight 3 wars just to survive, subjected to constant terrorist and shelling atacks. Iran circa 2007: One of the world's largest oil exporters, strict Islamic dictatorship that does not respect womens' rights, has not been attacked in 20 years, its sworn enemy (Saddam Hussein) has just been deposed and hanged, and it is threatening to wipe off the map a tiny country hundreds of miles away with whom it does not share a common border, while it parades long range missiles with the words "Death to Israel" on them. What historical similarity???
