Other than sharing of some intelligence that was in its best interest to share. When they didn't want us to know what was going on in 1967,they repeatedly, over several hours, attacked our intelligence ship, killing over 30 of our servicemen. In 1993, in the first gulf war, we could not seek help from Israel, because it would have turned our Arab allies against us. Our unreserved monetary and diplomatic support for Israel has caused us to be hated by the population of Arab countries to our detriment, particularly since the events of the Arab Spring. To anyone who argues that we should support Israel on the basis of "shared values'" I suggest that they read Haaretz for a year. Israel's illegal occupation of the West Bank and its oppression of the rightful occupants recalls the worst of our own history of Indian oppression and discrimination against blacks, episodes which we have largely put behind us.
