Roxy is right, the educational system is 100%deficient here in Israel. Overcrowded classrooms, teacher's that donot know the subject matters that they were hired to teach, unruly students. Come on people the educational system here is a joke, one that will come back to haunt this country in the future when you will have people that cannot read even a newspaper, cannot do simple math, then what will happen to this country? More money needs to be invested in a proper education for all the students in this country, since the majority of us don't have the money to send our kids to private schools, where they get a little better of an education. remember the adage "A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE", which unfortunatly is not the norm here! Smarter sudents are sitting in classes bored to tears because they are being taught below grade level because of the failing students, give the gifted students a chance at a future, open both remedialand gifted classes in all elementary &secondary schools!
