I also don't think that those tactics will stop the Kassams. However, if they're launching them anyway, tactical operations can help in minimizing them. It's not about 'surrender', and it's obviously not a solution. In fact, there is NO military solution. But what's your creative solution? Israel pulled out from Gaza in 2005. The Palestinians could have transformed the place into a model of peace. There would have been no border closures, the airport and sea ports would have opened, the economy would have improved. This is what all sane people want. Unfortunately, the place has morphed into a terrorist hornets' nest. Lawlessness reigns supreme, there is no effective central government, and gangs, clans and 'military wings' of the organizations do as they please. In such an environment, please enlighten us.. What do you propose?? Hamas at a deep ideological level doesn't want a 2-state solution, so please, how should Israel proceed??
